Alice Nord

Alice Nord is a writer of sci-fi and literary fiction who began her career as molecular biologist but quit bench research to better be able to combine her love of languages and writing with science. She now writes fiction in the early morning hours before her day job as a medical writer. Alice is a member of the Geneva Wednesday Cocktail Club, a monthly creative writing group that neither involves cocktails nor is based in Geneva (but does take place on Wednesdays).

Alice Nord has lived in Sweden, the US, France, and Japan and now splits her time between Paris and Tokyo. Alice loves learning languages (even if French turned out to be more challenging than either Japanese or English) and occasionally works as a Japanese-to-English scientific translator. Her other interests include long-distance running, video games, and reading novels and manga.
